I have always wanted a baby boston terrier. Me and my husband found this breeder that lived about fifteen minutes from us, and we went to look at some of his newly born puppies. When it came time for them to be weaned, we didn't have the money up for it. There was a problem though. I had a childhood pet named Kandi, so i was wanting one to name it after the dog that i once had. I am not able to have children, so i treat my animals like a baby, and i wanted a baby boston terrier so that i could raise it and watch it grow. I wanted to teach it as it grew. I thought of the name kandi for the boston terrier because they look like dark chocolate and vanilla or at least that is what i think. Anyway, because of the lack of money for these dogs, the man wouldn't let me have any. So i didn't give up and about a week later, there was an ad up at the neighborhood true value that someone was wanting to sell a boston terrier, female for 125.00. That was definitely in our budget, so i promised to name this one kandi after the pup that i couldn't have.

When we went to get her, i was then hit with reality of why i wanted to buy her. The previous owners treated her horrible. They had her outside in a box with no windows, she laid on hay and started to get the mange, you could count every rib in her body, and she had been kicked in the side and her ribs had been broke. Since I loved this name so much, I decided to name her Kandi Carole Fugate. Since that day, she has all the love in the world, she is spoiled rotten, and she gets anything that she wants!
