Jealous Boston?

We have a female Boston named Ellie May who is a year and 5 months old. She has a super disposition and we couldn't be happier. Even with our newborn son whos now 2 months, she has been wonderful, seems to know her place in our "pack" and has never ever bitten, growled, or ever shown aggression toward anyone, even strangers. She would never be a good guard dog, as anyone new is just a new playmate to her.
Yesterday afternoon, I stepped out of the room for a few minutes, baby was sleeping in his basinette in the livingroom. He started to stir and fuss so I went back to the livingroom, only to find Ellie had jumped into his basinette and was standing on top of him! She has never done this before and I'm just wondering if she was being inquizative or was trying to hurt him somehow. I'm so confused! The basinette is a lot taller than any of our other furniture, so she would have had to take a run at it to get in there. Did she have an agenda?
