Jack

Jack is a four-year-old Boston/Jack Russell mix. He is incredibly smart and sweet. We never had a problem with him chewing things or being destructive, but he is very aggressive. He is very good with our close friends and family, but when strangers come to our house he goes crazy!!! From looking at the pictures of other dogs in this breed, I'm seeing a lot of differences! In this picture you see Jack (brindle and white, the larger dog) and Lucy (our 1 year old Boston Terrier). Let me know what you think!

I have a Bo-Jack named Sabastian, he just turned 5 years old this July. He is such a lover, and can be the biggest baby. But, I have the same problem with him, as you do with your adorable Jack; when new friends, or strangers come over, or to the door, he freaks out and becomes highly aggressive. He has bitten more people then I would like to admit. I wouldn't even really call it a bite, more like a pinch. However, I'm wondering how you deal with jack's aggression? Have you ever tried to seek information on how to try to improve his reaction to new comers to your home? Please let me know any information you might have for me, I would sincerely appreciate it. I love my boy, and my mom is threatening to give him away. If this happens, I think I will see myself as a failure; a failure as a potential dog trainer, a failure as a pet owner, and a failure as an animal lover. Animals are my world, my dog is my life! Please help! Thank you :-)

What a striking pup!I can see the Jack Russell and devilish sweetness...Too cute, my boston/blue heeeler mix is full of it too! But oh so sweet and very domineering :)!! Your boston/Jack has to be a rare find and a very special pup as I am sure very happy, as always I love to see people getting the mixed breeds, You are wonderful for giving them a chance at a good life!
