Is my Boston Sick?

by Aleita Soto

Hi Just adopted a 6 yrs old Boston Terrier, he is very good but SLEEPS ALL DAY. When I come home from work he show very little interest in playing, drinks a lot of water, and sneezes HARD and often. Is he sick?, does he have a cold? (I don't feel these actions are common for this breed.)

Sick Puppy?

The vet is always the best person to ask. Once you check him out and the vet finds nothing, then you just have one of those rare less active bostons. We have one that is definitely less active...she is a lap dog. But the other one is CRAZY!

It could be hook worms or something else, though. Those drain your dog's energy.

Sick Boston
by: Sharri

I would definately take him to a doctor - sounds like allergies or he is sick. My boston is 4 and she sleeps alot during the day but first thing in the morning and after work she is ready to play all the time and fully alert. I would definately look into that. Good luck.
