How much should I feed my boston?

Hey, I have a ten month old Boston named Achilles. I've been feeding him Blue Buffalo dry food mixed in with a little bit of wet food. He had been throwing up a lot so I stopped the wet food and noticed he does not throw up as much. I guess my question in general is how much food should a 10 month old Boston get? I feed him twice, once in the morning and once in the night. I feed him about 3/4 a cup of dry food each time. He poops a lot (5x a day) Should I just feed him once? I don't want to stunt his growth since he is technically still a puppy, but I'm afraid I'm overfeeding him.

I agree with Tami. Boston's can have high sensitivity to rich foods like blue buffalo even though it is one of the bests. I would go with an all natural dog food that is more of a mixture of protein, fiber, and fats like Nutro natural Choice or the one Tami recommended. I went through this for months with my Boston puppies and now they are doing great.

I have a 1 yr old female Boston Terrier. She is VERY active and we feed her 1/2 cup 2x a day. The vet says that is plenty, but I am thinking about giving her a little more. She is 20 lbs.

Feeding Time

It sounds like your feeding him enough. Have you considered if this "high end" food is TOO RICH for his little belly? We feed ours Natures Recipe, lamb & rice for puppies. They are just shy of 6 mos. old. In the beginning our Sasha would eat it and throw up each time after eating it. Now, she's adjusted and theres no more issues. Good Luck.
