Help for Boston Terrier with Pinched Nerves/Slipped Discs

Our Boston stepped wrong last week and started limping, panting, and crying in pain. The Vet said he had pinched a nerve and slipped a disc. He put him on a regiment of steriods. He completed the round of steriods and is now limping, crying, and panting. Any ideas and something less invasive than surgery?

Hi;

We are beginning the round of meds on our 4 year-old boston for something similar. The vet doesnt know if it's a slipped disc or a muscle spasm, but is leaning more towards a muscle spasm. I wish I knew what to tell you on this. Has there been any improvement since your first post?

I seem to be having trouble of this nature with my 4 year-old boston. It happened suddenly, and now her haunches are extremely sensitive. The vet said she can't figure out if it's a spine issue, or a pinched nerve/muscle spasm. She put her on meds, and this is the first day of meds. If they don't work in the long term, I would imagine that the best solution would be the same thing that people do for pinched nerves and spine issues. Rehab. How you would go about doing physio with your BT, I am clueless.
