Greeeebo

This site really helped me decide to get this adorable bochi! First met him @ 2 and a half weeks old and this is a picture of him @ 4 weeks. Can't wait to get him home.

I wonder what he will grow to look like! Am looking around for crates and am deciding what size to get... any advice?

crate size
by: Linda Galway/TurnerME

I would start out with the small cat crate (borrow one if you can) and then move on to the next size. They're not very expensive. If you can borrow until Greebo gets to nearly full size, then you can just purchase one that will accomodate his adult size.

May be a good thing

Thanks for the heads up! May be a good thing if he grows to 20 lbs.. my parents aren't too keen on very small dogs. If it were up to me I'd have him stay just as he is, haha. As for housebreaking, am thinking if i still need a crate if i'm going to section off a puppy pen..

Bochi advice
by: Double0Angel

Don't be surprised if this bundle of joy matures to actual size. The petshop owner told us that our puppy would not get any bigger than our chihuahua. Nonetheless, he's at 19 lbs and 23 inches not including his tail. With both breed gave him the marblized brindle color. Potty training meant sending several comforters to the dry cleaner, used a lot of wee-wee pads and of course treats. Good luck!

I have a Bochi that is 6 months old and she looks exactly like yours her nam is Khloee she and her siblings were named after the Kardashians by the Humane Society where we adopted her. They told us she was Boston Terrier/Bassett hound but the vet said she was not Bassett Hound so I did research and found out she is a Bochi.Toooo cute

Crate Size
by: Mary

Bochi's are usually small but I have seen some medium sized. If you don't mind getting a bigger crate later you can get a small one now. See what size his parents were and that will usually give you some idea of what size he may be. There are always exceptions to this rule, though.
