I picked up a magazine type of book at Pet Smart. It is called the "Popular Dogs Series" and each bread has it's own magazine with a photo of the breed on the front cover. It was $10 dollars. It is full of beautiful full color photos and 128 pages of useful information.
I also picked up a book on Ebay titled "The Boston Terrier" by Tracy Libby. It is a hard cover book with a DVD about dog care and training. It sells for $17 in the stores, but I found it on Ebay for $3.00 It too was informative about the breed with many full color photos.
Both books were interesting. I learned a lot. But even still, my Ollie isn't exactly what they described. I love him to death, but he's like a bull in a china shop, and I don't recall either publication mentioning that trait. So read your books with a grain of salt. Keep in mind that the dog you adopt might not be the "perfect" Boston described in the books.
Hope you enjoy a happy healthy life with what ever dog you choose.
