Wall-eyed
by: Anonymous

It is a fault in the AKC show ring but as a pet it will not hurt them. It just takes awhile to get use to looking at them because you never really know when they are actually looking at you with their easty-westy eyes. I have seen it quite often. The most important thing is, has the breeder done health testing on the eyes as far as hereditary cataracts.

Wall Eyes
by: Mary

I think one of our bostons may have this too. He has had no problems at all and he is 2 years old. They probably would not win in a show, but they are still a great pet! BTW...I read this online:

Wall eye - incomplete flecked or spotted melanin markings on a blue iris (often found in merle coated dogs)...Don't think it has anything to do with your puppy. I have heard of the eyes being called "crazy eyes" but not wall eyes.

This is another term...Obliquely placed eyes - where the outer corners are situated higher than the inner corners (e.g. Bull Terrier).

Of course, if you still have questions, ask your vet!
