Frustrated with Boston Terrior

Hello, I have a 2 1/2 yr old spayed Boston Terrier. With our family she is great, but if someone comes to the door or is walking down the sidewalk, or is in our house visiting, she goes bonkers growling and trying to rush at the person. Terrifies me as I do not trust her not to bite. She will run up barking and growling and bump the person. I will grab her and say No. Need help :( She also got kicked out of daycare. The dog daycare said she didn't really socialize. I asked for help with training but I was sensing that the woman was scared of the dog as she turned me down for training.

If she is "great" with your family but not with others this is a training problem. I guess my first question to you would be how old was she the first time she went to daycare? My next question is what do you do when she behaves this way when people come into your home? If you have any fear that she is going to bite someone she is picking up on that. In return your fear is making it worse. When someone comes to the house she should be leashed so you can control her. She must be taught she's not the boss of your house. This takes time and training. If you don't know how to train you need to call trainers in your area. They will teach you how to train the dog. You must follow through with the training. I train in my home town for behavioral issues but unfortunately most people don't follow through and continue. Your dog needs follow through before she does bite someone. Humans are supposed to enjoy their dog and not fear they have a liability on their hands. This is not something that can be taught on a forum.
