My perfect Penny (she loves treats)

My perfect Penny (she loves treats)

I have raised Boston’s for years but always loved the wide shoulders and short nose of the French bulldogs. Then I saved and bought my first French bulldog(very expensive) then I said wait what if we combined them? They are PERFECT the personalities are a big plus great family pets they love everyone, Less health problems, more active and still funny WOW!

Fantastic Little Dog!
by: Greg

My wife and I have owned Boston Terriers for the past twenty years. We now have two purebred Bostons, ages 8 and 13. They are absolutely wonderful companion pets! We have added a third dog, a Frenchton. We have had this adorable little bundle of fun for the past four days. She is absolutely remarkable! So far she has responded unbelievably in terms of training, is super loveable, and so darn cute! I am looking forward to many years with this wonderful breed and would already absolutely recommend this dog to anyone who wants a puppy!

My Angel
by: Missy

I adopted a frenchton who needed a lot of love. Scared and a bit shy at first but within two days I began to wonder who needed who. We don't leave each others side, such a sweet personality and so smart!

My frenchton is wild!
by: Anonymous

I have a 7 month old male frenchton. He is a very busy boy but he plays very rough. Biting my sleeves and try to dominate me. I think it's small syndrome. When he is outside he eats twigs and branches. Can anyone give me some advice with this? I'm having a hard time with this breed. Thanks!

Ruben
by: Anonymous

My husband and I rescued a 2.5 year old frenchton last Sept. Into our 4th month we have realized we got the best dog ever! Ruben came to us from a neglected home, malnutrition , infested with fleas and parisites, scared to death of people and the world in general. He has turned out to be loving, smart, easy to train, a little comic, basically he has learned what being a dog is all about and we love him!

Zoe- Frenchton
by: Jill

My Frenchton is 9 months old and an awesome pet. She is sweet, lovable, and very playful... but super hyper! She is also a chewer :/ which has not been my favorite quality (considering the shoes I have lost). I think this is a puppy thing, but only time will tell. She makes up for it though when she looks up at you and play barks!! I always wanted a Boston, but fell in love with her when I saw her, and am very glad with my choice. I very much recommend this "breed".

I love my frenchie....he is energetic and lovable and the cutest frenchton on the face of the earth. I did have a little trouble potty training him but I could consider that my fault as well.

housebreaking?
by: Anonymous

We just lost a Frenchie last year at the age of 11. We adored everything except, he would not housebreak. I know Bostons are supposed to housebreak fairly fast..anybody got any info on this issue?

My french hates some words!
by: Katie

Does your frenchton hate value packs cuz mine does. I show him the wrapper he stares at the word "value" and growls. It's my kid who's holding the wrapper and my kid runs. He tears value right off the wrapper!

So happy with my Frenchton!
by: Anonymous

I originally wanted a French Bulldog but they were way too expensive so I decided on a Boston Terrier..While looking online for Bostons for sale, I found a frenchton and decided that was the dog for me...That particular one was not available anymore but I refused to select any other dog..Was not easy but I finally found another litter, and drove from NYC to Kentucky to get him and it was well worth the drive..Paid $400 for him and he it the best looking, funniest, coolest personality dog I've ever had contact with.

loooove frenchtons
by: Anonymous

I had a Frenchie when i was a child and then a Jack Rusell as adult. Terriers are super smart and hyper ...Boston terriers are no exception. When i came across the Frenchton i immediately thought great mix! My jack died from cancer so a mixed breed with possible less health risks was a plus. I jogged with my Jack, and i knew frenchies will NOT jog. 4 yrs later....Mady is great. 1/2 time she is hyper, other 1/2 falling asleep...u can see both breeds! She is bigger than most bostons and frenchies, its as if the frame of boston got piled on w Frenchie muscles....she is 28 lbs solid mass...i make her food..trust me, it cheaper than vet bills from a sick dog and less heartache..make yr pets food people!! Mady was $600-800, i got her for $450 in LA!! They should be under $1k because most have largert liters and do not need a vet to deliver (drives up $$$ for full Frenchies) PS....a boston has at its roots the genes of a Frenchie so this hybrid as some call it, is in my opinion us humans reversing damages we did on heavily breeding for certain qualities.

Have a French Bulldog and Getting a Frenchton
by: Debb

We have a French Bulldog that is 9 months old and LOVE HIM. After getting him and falling in love with him though, we found out he had a serious heart murmur. $5,000 later in surgeries he is better but we are afraid of getting another French Bulldog as his playmate. We are considering a Frenchton to hopefully avoid some of the risk of the health issues so common in French Bulldogs. Can you all comment on how healthy your dogs are?

Frenchbo Love
by: Anonymous

My fiance and I just got Denali our beautiful Frenchton. She is just our princess. We live in Montana and its freezing cold right now, but we got her a snowsuit. She goes ice fishing with us, loves visiting the ranch, and of most of all relaxing on the couch. I couldnt think of a better mix to have! I would like to get another one, they are so expensive though. I only paid $600 for her though, but looking at buying another its $1200-$1500!!!!

I love my Frenchton!
by: J. W.

He is almost 8 mos. old now and is the best dog i have ever had! he is so cute. every time i take him out i get stopped by people who want to pet him and remark on how cute he is. He is very smart, learns tricks very quickly, is very playful and just has a wonderful personality. He can be a little stubborn at times but I can never stay mad at him long.

Amazing Grace 16th, PEEDEE 4th
by: Debra

We love our Gracie which I purchased from you three years ago for my elderly mother. I cant believe no one took her for her partially blue eye. Gracie is the most loving, kind and gentle furry four legged family member. Just to let you know, she has a good life. Thank you from the Regan family

My Bandit
by: Terie

My 7 mo. old also does the comando crawl, ha,ha!! He's got to be the fasted little guy when he tears from one end of the house to the other. He's always trying to outsmart us, which he does, ha,ha!!! He loves ice cubes and peanut butter. I couldn't imagine life without him. I paid a whopping $1,255 for him and you know what? Money's no object when it comes to this kind of joy!!! He's worth every cent and then some. What a great mix and the Vet even made a comment about how the health issues typically with these breeds are less due to the mixing of the two. I've had no problems!!! Enjoy your Frenchtons!!!!

We love our Frenchton "Yoda". He is the best dog ever! Not only has he brought doggie joy to our home he is the most fun guy ever. From his Stevie Wonder back scratch impression to his commando crawl he keeps us laughing. Next stop finding him a girlfriend!
