Frenchtons, Frenchbos
by: Catherine Farmer

Most Frenchtons and Frenchbo breeders are far and few between but some times you can find a local person who just breeds a litter or two. The only problem is you do not know if they screen the parents for genetic issues or if they have used a very leggy girl to produce the litter. A lot of breeders do offer shipping in cooler weather or maybe you can take a vacation trip and pick up your new family member. We are located in TN and raise the frenchtons, frenchbos and faux frenchies. Best of Luck.

Looking for a Frenchbo Breeder In Calgary Alberta
by: Elena

Hello,
My fiance and I are looking for a frenchbo of our own and have been having troubles finding any that are available.

We have found one that is 3/4 Boston Terrier and 1/4 French bulldog. Would this be a good mix or is the 1/2 and 1/2 a better option.

Any information would be really helpful!

male frenchbo for sale ready 5/5/2012
by: jennifer

I have a purebred akc female french bulldog Named coco. She and my purebred championship lines akc boston terrier brutus, had 1 puppy from their litter born on march fifth 2012. The 1 puppy we named sherman because he is quite a tank. He is happy and cuddly and very well adjusted because she gets tons of attention from his dog mom dad and human mom n dad.
Research the breed and the information available and you will be convinced that a french bo is the perfect cuddle companion.
Email me for pictures. We are asking 1700.00

diesel
by: lynda

I had no experience with a frenchbo nor did I even know what one was until my boss had to get rid of her dog. Instead of letting him go to the pound I decided to take him. That was one of the best decisions I've made. Now a year and a half later I have the best most loyal dog I've ever know. His name is Diesel, because as anyone who owns a frenchbo knows, when they fart it's worse than diesel fuel. He will be 3 yrs old in August, he's great with kids of all ages and other dogs. He's always looking to please and NEVER leaves my side. He's even there when I go to the bathroom. If you're thinking about getting one of these wonderful dogs as a pet it'll be the best decision you could make. Just make sure you have plenty of time for them because they seem to forget they are dogs and believe they are humans and need companionship to stay happy. Any other question about the breed feel free to email me at lynandjay4eva@hotmail.comj

questions about frenchbo
by: Anonymous

I am interested in the frenchbo also but I am wondering about the size. can anyone tell me the size of their frenchbo? I want something small like a french bulldog. I have read that some frenchbo are bigger than a french bulldog and a boston terrier. is it better to get one that is 3/4 frenchie.. also I am wondering about the price...i have seen some from 600 to 1900.. that's a huge price difference. I want one that is healthy so I am a little worried about the cheaper ones quality. what's the average price? thanks so much

frenchton / frenchbo wanted in NC
by: Anonymous

I have been researching this breed for some time now and have fallen in love with every thing about them. I've reached the point of wanting a companion to share my country home with me however I don't want to purchase a companion from a puppy mill. I've looked all over the internet and have seen one site in the NC area but the website is difficult to navigate and I'm not able to see what if anything is available. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks.

My Frenchbo
by: Anonymous

We have had our Frenchbo for six months... He has brought nothing but joy and laughter to our home. He gets along well with our 3 year old laborador retriever... and loves both of our kids. He loves to cuddle. He also enjoys short little walks:) I highly recommend them.

I love my frenchbo!
by: Megan

I was not an experienced small breed dog owner when I got the love of my life Oscar our 1/2frenchie 1/2 boston. I was worried about ending up with a small yappie dog that would annoy me and my neighbors... little did I know he would be the BEST puppy I could ever ask for! I can not advocate for this breed enough. If you are looking for someone to always trying to cheer you up, filled with lots of kisses (and sometime gas), and ready to please you anyway they can, a frenchbo is for you! Oscar is now 2 years old and knock on wood has not had a single health problem. If anyone else is looking for a new best friend, he came from a breeder in Perry, Missouri names Teahna :)

I got my female "Olive" last Christmas, couldn't have gotten a better gift. She is sweet, funny, smart as a whip! She loves everyone. She does shed, and fart and snore....but gives me so much joy I could care less, I just vacuum more. I got her from a breeder in long island found on internet. Anyone have a male, I'd be interested in breeding her, i'd love another puppy. Lafemmeharley@AOL

Info on Frenchbo
by: Kim

My boy is about 9 months old now. So much fun! He does shed! Maybe I should bathe him more to get it off better?? But I don't notice a smell. He does have the silent-but-deadly gas often, but that's temporary smell!!
I have a question to other owners of Frenchbo's. Mine has been just great on potty training and not bothering anything that wasn't his. All of the sudden in the last week or two, he's been causing some damage to things that aren't his! It seems so very uncharacteristic of him - and yet nothing has changed really. So we're back to kenneling him every moment we are gone. He's still okay on his potty training though. And we work for a school system, so even though he had lots of time with us this summer, he's had the new schedule since last of August. Is it his age phase?

Frenchton shedding
by: Anonymous

Yes they do shed grooming them often will help but they are not a poodle or schnauzer breed that are non-shedding creatures (requireing clipping) and they require regular brushing and clean up. Baths will help with the hair and the dog odor. They also fart and snore. There are a lot of products on the market today that help with this problem but these are indoor pets only.

I have been thinking of getting a Frenchbo- someone who already has one can you tell me if they shed a lot? How is the dog smell? My husband will only get one if the house doesn't end up smelling like dog.

They are the greatest!
by: Anna Provost

We got our first Frenchbo last December. She is 1 year old now and the best companion we could ask for. She loves all the members of the family and anyone that comes to our home/business. They are fun and playful, smart, funny and love to snuggle. We live in Montana and she doesn't mind the COLD weather - and absolutely refuses to wear any type of "clothes"! We are a fan of the Boxer but have a small house and yard so after some research, we thought this would be a good fit for us. Fantastic combination of breeds.

FRENCHBOS
by: Catherine

One of the hardest things I have to do is find homes for all my little frenchtons. They are so darn cute and comical it is easy to keep them all but I know I must share them with everyone. I love taking pictures and watching them grown. They have the best personality of any dog I ever owned. I have to be honest and say that each litter I am tempted to steal one away for myself and have come real close to keeping a few. I have a lot of snugglers? to watch TV with and share my dinner so I will enjoy them and pass them on to the new families who love them as much as I do. You are welcome to view my babies at http://puppylovekennelstn.com . I would love to share my albums with you.

FrenchBo puppies Available
by: Mary Beers, Umpqua Valley Kennels LLC

I am in Oregon as well and have beautiful healthy frenchbo puppies available. We breed purebred boston terrier moms to purebred French Bulldog dads. Our pups come with many extras including a 3-4 generation pedigree on both mom and dad, so you can see that there is no inbreeding or linebreeding in thier genetics. If you would like to read detailed information about the FrenchBos and watch Videos of our pups, please visit our website at : www. puppygramnet .com .

You can also find a virtual tour of our farm on the home page and also complete information on the new laws concerning breeding and puppy sales in Oregon!

Looking for a local Frenchbo Breeder
by: Ed

Hi there! I do concur. Frenchbo's are the perfect mix. That is why I'm looking for one. Do you happen to know of any Frenchbo breeders in the Virginia area? My fiance and I are willing to drive around 3 hours away from Central Virginia(Richmond). That'll be up to PA and down to NC. If you have any leads I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Ed
