FrenchBo Tummy Trouble

""HELP""" I am worried about my lil Boston X French-bulldog. 3days ago my guy Budah didn't want to eat dinner. That's not him - he loves food! The same night he got sick, and vomited. Yesterday he got sick in the morning and tried pooping all day and had no success. Yesterday evening he looked so sad, was having problems breathing it seemed for about an hour. He was drinking water and ate a handful of food. This morning I woke up to an awful smell. A pool of brown black smudge, guessing it came from his bum. Inside was a PIT from a Nectarine. It was hard to see what it was, it was so black. I'm so happy he got it to come out, had no idea he had swallowed it whole. When he did it would have been from 5mths ago or so...My question is" do you think he will be fine now? How would his intestines be? Any one know of what I should feed him to heal? Should I go to a vet? Or wait a couple days??

I was thinking soaking his food in water so it can go and stay down. Or can I give him any human medication to make him feel better?? I know you can give dogs Benadryl for allergies...???

poisonous?

I Googled nectarine pit, and it appears it may be poisonous. You can always call a poison control center, but when your dog is having these issues, I would not hesitate to get him to the vet's. An x-ray would have probably shown the obstruction. Glad it's out of him, but at the same time, it may have released some toxins. If your dog continues to be lethargic or off his food, please take him to the vet's. At least CALL the and tell them what you know about the situation.
