Food to help reduce gas?

by Mary

Chili is 6 months old and has gas that can empty room. Also, he has allergies.
Has anyone found a food that help reduce the gas? He's on Merrick now. I have to find something.

Try Grain Free!
by: Maggie and Shamus' Step-Dad

Maggie will absolutely clear the room as well. BUT, we have been experimenting with various grain free foods to find one that 1) they both will eat 2) reduces gas and 3) is affordable.

So far we really like Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance foods (they love duck and sweet potato) - we bought at PetCo - but not all of their stores seem to carry it - works!. They like EVO Red Meat Small Bites (bought at non-chain local store) - works but not as good as NB. Orijen was expensive and didn't seem to help much.

All of the grain free products alleviated much of the problem.

Hope this helps!

Chili
by: Anonymous

aww I just got a little girl Boston and named her Chili. She is almost 3 months old and she can sure clear a room with her gas too!

Sorry I don't have any helpful advice, just thought it was cool you have a little chili dog as well :)

Yogurt!
by: Rocco's mom

I give my Boston a tablespoon of greek yogurt every night before bedtime and it seems to help alleviate a lot of his tummy issues. It won't completely get rid of the gas, but it helps.
