Floppy ears

I am going to be getting a Boston Terrier puppy. I really like the ears to be floppy. Is there any way to keep the Boston Terrier ears from standing up?

Thank you!

Put Olive Oil on the inside flap of the ear more at the tip so that it keeps them heavy you have to do this while they are still a puppy because if not then the ear will not be soft enough. this also moisturizes their ears lol i am doing this with my new Pomston, my mother did this with her Sheltie puppies so hopefully it works with Bostons also =]

The ears will either stand up or flop over. The most "standard" puppies will have ears that stand straight up. That is actually what you want them to do. If you are set on a pup's ears that flop, then it might be best to adopt an older pup. Then you know exactly what they will look like. When you adopt a puppy, the ears are usually flopped over and they stand up later.

Either way...I think they are cute!

Probably not. Their ears are pretty independent. They'll flop for a while, but eventually, the majority are upright by the time they are adults.
