first heat cycle

how heavy is their first heat cycle when they bleed, my female 6 month old boston terrier has been bleeding quit heavily and its making me kinda worry if she is ok

We had one female that bled "noticeably" and the other one bleed much heavier. I think they are all different. You can use doggie diapers and sheets to cover furniture if you need to. We got our female an infant one-piece swimsuit for certain days to hold on her diaper.

As long as the blood is reddish and not green or black and as long as it does not smell it should be ok but definitely call your vet and ask questions...a phone call is always free.
