Emma Lynn Cerda

My BoShih's name is Emma Lynn Cerda and she is 3 1/2 years old. She is just a sweetie and a good dog. She does seem to have a sensitive stomach. I have switched her food from Pedigree to Iams to Science Diet to Science Diet for Sensitive Stomach. She will eat the food for a few weeks then will get bored from it but never turns down her treats. She might not eat breakfast but eats her dinner. She will eat grass every now and then and sometimes throw it up (not all the time)then be fine after that. Does anyone with a BoShih have the same problem?

Thank you for your response. You mentioned your boston terrier that you have switched their food a couple of times. Does he or she seem to have a sensitive stomach?

My rescue Boston will eat any kibble put down for her, with or without canned or other types of real food mixed in.I suspect she went for long periods of time between meals in her previous home so she's all gung ho about eating. My other Boston is very fussy, and I've had a hard time finding a food combination that he will eat, especially dry kibble. He's been on Nutro, Diamond,Science Diet (imo the worst one as they started having larger stools...) and now I just switched them over to Iams Pro-Active Health for toy and small dogs (up to 20 lbs.)This, with chicken as its first ingredient, he ate off the floor when some bits of kibble fell. He actually ate it dry one day. That's where I am, and I certainly relate to your frustration at trying to get your baby to eat! I also have cut back on treats in an effort to keep him a little hungrier.
