Easter Bunny 2009

I had to put down Emily on May 23, 2009. She was 13 1/2 years old. She had a host of medical problems but what ultimately ended her life was the liver cancer. I feel so devasted that I feel I just can't go on but everyone tells me that only time will heal my heart. She was my best friend for so long just looking at her pictures and empty bed and her toys make me cry all over again. This picture of her with her rabbit ears best describes her personality, comical, loved to dress up and is a ham if she sees a camera. I miss you Emster and will see you soon at rainbow bridge and then we can be together forever. Love, Moms

I am so sorry for your loss. We had to put Theo down at the age of 11 and 1/2 years on Tuesday. It is so painful.

About your sweet baby Emily
by: Dee

Hi Karen, I know exactly how you feel. We had to have our 19 year old Boston Spud put down 2 years ago because of a stroke. We knew he was near the end even before the stroke. We have tears in our eyes sometimes now when we talk about him or look at his pictures. My husband and I were watching the movie "Marley and Me" last month. When it got to the part where Marley had to be put down we both were bawling our eyes out. It brought back such sad memories. We now have a 14 month old Boston. He will never replace the dog we lost but he has taught us to make room in our hearts for him. Someday you will have more smiles than tears when you think of Emily. Although we still miss Spud, we try really hard to remember the good times and take comfort in the fact that we gave him a very good life. That was the least we could have done for all the joy that he gave us. Best wishes, Dee

RIP ( Romping In Perpetual-bliss )
by: Laurel

I know just how you feel ........ Cancer is the worst. But soon you will be able to remember her with out crying and one day you will find yourself smiling at some memory or reminder. Maybe when this time comes you will be able to share your heart with another precious little sole and have a whole new set of memories to add next to Emily's Legacy.

Take Care

Laurel
