Elderly Boston Terrier Behavior

Our elderly Boston Terrier (14 years) is constantly whining, not hurting that I can tell, but wants something. We had started feeding her one extra can of food a day, but that makes her want you to give her more, so we are stopping. She is still eating her dry food well. She just walks and whines all night and early morning.

Assuming you did your vet checks, they normally
whine from confusion. Ask the vet about the
dementia, it makes them act weird..
It's like being confused, mentally..and
sorta sad..but hey he/she is here. Be extra
careful and keep loud noise, TV down and
you can give them a 1/3 of a child brand
of benadryl allergy pill to help them "relax"
and not "fret" and panic..

I am sure you're good mommy with her/him. They don't normally whine when in pain
(in the body) as you know..they only do
if you touch, they growl..or snip at ya.
