Dry Skin, Picky Eater

Hi I have a 14 month old male boston. I can't seem to get comfortable with one food with out feeling that he could be eating better. Right now we are feeding him Blue Buffalo Lamb and Rice. We 1st started on the Chicken (small bites) but ever since he was a puppy, if it's not fresh cooked chicken, he doesn't seem to like it too much. I just need to feel comfortable and safe feeding my boston terrier. He Loves to run!! He is very playful, very smart, and I just want what's best for him like everyone wants for their dog(s). He has dry skin, a sensitive stomach, he seems to be pretty picky, and i just want a balanced diet for him. Can anyone help me?

Hello there
I would try "Taste of the Wild" dog food. Its all natural food and no grain. I have my 9 month old BT on it and she loves it. She has a sensitive stomach as well and she does very well on this food. We buy it at our local tractor supply store. good luck

There is a great book on dogs nutrition it is
Dr. Jane's Natural Care for a Healthier, Happier Dog

She goes into great detail about what a dogs diet should consist of along with dry skin issues and what you can give them for it.
She also lists phone numbers to dog manufactures and she gives you the info on what you should be asking.
