Dafney at 16 weeks

We at first provided a foster home for this pup through a local rescue group. She inherited the brindle pattern of the Boston and the body style and shape of the Rat. She stole our hearts with her entertaining aerobatics in play and loyal/loving nature, so we adopted her.

We've raised and have had several purebred dogs over the last 40 years, mostly spaniels. Loved them all. But this pup, so far, has proved to be the brightest and most trainable at her age we've ever had.

She may be a mutt according to the AKC but we didn't adopt her based on her "papers".

She may be a puppy mill (which I abhor) cast-off, but she's brought a light into our lives.

I love this picture!

We just got three Boston/Rat terrier mixed puppies all from the same litter. We love them all. They all are great. The two males puppies have the Boston Terrier tux pattern. The female doesn't look like them at all. I was beginning to think the puppies had different fathers until I saw your picture of Dafney. Our girl looks just like your Dafney and guess what her name is? ???????? Daphanie! LOL! I think that is so interesting!
Thanks for the picture. I will have to up load pictures of Daphanie. Our Daphanie is very smart and loveable too. I think she is the best of the litter.
