Crypto Sparitian Tafoya

Crypto is a three year old Boston Terrier/Pug mix. He is so cute, I think that he is 95% Boston and maybe 5% Pug. He is such a joy, but he licks all the time. I also have a five year old pug named Debo. He doesn't lick that much, but Crypto will soak everything by licking constantly. I have read a couple of articles that state that it may be a sign of allergies, but I am not sure. Other than his licking craze he is a perfect dog. Does anyone have any feedback as to why he licks so much? Just want to make sure that nothing seriously is wrong with him. :)

Brittney is quite the licker, licks everything. I can't imagine she would be stressed, she has it made. She has a hound mix "aunt" that looks after her like she is her daughter, she loves to lick aunt Jesse as well!

 Not the only ones!!

Thank goodness my Pugsley isn't the only one with a licking issue. Pugsley has his tongue out on the ground licking the carpet every where he walks. He licks the couch, my bed, and anywhere he lays or walks. A friend told me that it was a sign of stress. I don't know what he could possibly stressed about tho. This boy has it made. He also has horrible gas. I mean horrible!! He climbs under the covers with me as well and dutch ovens me ALL the time. Have to be sure to keep the bedroom door open throughout the night. Anyone else have problems with gassy pooches?

 Our Licker, DAISY MAE

We too have a Bugg named, Daisy Mae.. She is a licker. We refer to her as a "Drive By Licking" cause she licks as she runs by, she licks as she sits next to you and she licks her licking..LOL
She is the most precious dog I have ever owned. She lives for us to WAKE UP every day and always has a ball or toy in her mouth. Sometimes her toy will go under a dresser etc. she then "woofs" in a very quiet voice till you realize she can't get it herself.
I would recommend a Bugg for people who love a dog who triple loves you back...

We have 3 Bostons. Only one licks all the time and boy! it is ALL the time. She licks our couch, the fridge, your leg, and of course everything else. It's really cute when she starts licking our male's face.

We just tell everyone that she can't control her licker. :)
