Cinder - Boston Rat Terrier
(Midwest)
Cinder is an 11 lb. one year-old ball of energy. She is marked just like a the classic black & white Boston terrier but has a pointed nose. She has the stocky BT build & looks funny playing with our little rat-chi She is very verbal and comical. My husband rescued her along with her adopted rat terrier mom, they were in the cage together at shelter & had bonded so he couldn't stand to see them separated. We already had 3 rescued rat terrier mixes & had been called by the shelter to see if we'd take the, "mom." So we have a total of 5, never a dull moment!! Cinder adores my husband above all others (as he does her) he's an obstetrician and when he gets a phone call or puts on a pair of scrubs she pouts knowing he's leaving.
PLEASE GET YOUR NEXT DOG FROM A SHELTER! These babies need you. Our small midwestern town's shelter is overrun with wonderful purebreds & "designer," dogs. I assume it's because we have a college & med school here & people get them and then leave them when they move. All of our dogs seem to know we rescued them and more love and devotion you can't imagine.
