Chuy misses his Buddy, Herc

Where's my Buddy Herc?

Chuy, is the Baby of the Family. Chuy showed up at our door about 4 years ago. We had never owned a small dog and had a Lab X, also male, when Chuy came to live with us. Our Lab X "Herc" had to be out down in May of this year. Chuy seemed lost without him. I can't help but think that this picture which was taken shortly after we put "HERC" to sleep, seems to show us how animals miss companions. He seems to be thinking "Where's my Buddy Herc?"

Loss of best buddies

They do miss their buddies. I think that our dog friends need one of their own, even though we give them lots of love. I always try to keep a partner for my little ones. I also helps to keep me guilt free when I leave home without them.
