Cherry Eye?

What are the signs and symptoms of "cherry eye" in the BT? My BT puppy has developed a small red, somewhat bulging mass in the medial corner of his L eye. I just wondering how concerned I should be.

That sounds like Cherry Eye. Only a vet can correct this. It will not hurt your little guy to have it, but it looks better if you take care of it. It requires surgery. Don't let a vet tell you they are not sure what it is so use these eye drops for a while and see if it goes away (our ex-vet did that). Find one that knows what it is right away and if you want, take care of it. We decided to have the surgery, but some owners don't.
