Charlie

We found Charlie on Craigslist one Saturday afternoon, and it was love at first sight! He was fairly easy to house train, and is eager to please. We take him everywhere we can, and have worked diligently to socialize him so he adjusts well to all public scenarios. He loves other dogs of all sizes and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. At a year old, he's turned out to be a bit bigger than we first anticipated at 30 pounds, but we don't mind; he's hardy enough to enjoy all the outdoor fun we can throw his way!
We can't bring ourselves to have him fixed yet because we're still entertaining the idea of breeding him. He's turned out to be such a perfect companion, and has brightened our lives and those of loved ones around us so much that we can't even recall what our life was like without him. We'd love to talk to likeminded Brat Terrier owners in the Pacific Northwest if you're interested in RESPONSIBLY carrying on this amazing hybrid line.

DONT BREED WHILE SHELTER DOGS DIE

DON"T BREED WHILE SHELTER DOGS DIE

Also Brat Terriers run the risk of having problems with aggression, something you DO NOT want to bring into this world. If you bring aggressive dogs into this world, they will either bite someone or be put down by someone who can't handle it.

Also, Please don't breed while shelter dogs die! ADOPT & SAVE LIVES INSTEAD!

People abandon dogs so often, throw them out windows or leave them near a highway or drive them out to the country. So, though you may be responsible & do your best to find them good homes you will never know whether or not they have good quality of life or are abused or abandoned. And brat terriers are difficult breeds. The reason I have my rescue Brat is because the family that had him before got fed up & couldn't handle his aggression, destruction & tendency to run away.

And he isn't even a bad dog. There are plenty of Brat Terriers with much worse destructive tendencies & behavior problems that I've read about on this website alone. THINK before you breed...PLEASE don't breed! Save lives & adopt!!
