Bugs

We've only had him for a week. The person we got him from said he was 12 weeks old, but the vet thinks more like 5 months (his teeth, apparently). His mother, who we saw, looked like a Bugg herself (all brindle, no Boston markings) but clearly there was a Boston involved. He's sweet as can be, loves to play fetch and to sleep on your lap. We're in love.

Kim - thanks so much for your sympathy re: losing our Angie recently. Read about your Bugs and admired his picture - he's a doll! I'm still having tears, but it's good to know that there is another doggie waiting for me out there. Thanks again.

Bugs update

Bugs, who the vet insists is far older than we were told he was by the woman we got him from, is now approaching 7 months old. He is only a couple of pounds heavier than when we got him in February 2010, and still looks just like this picture. He's fitting into the household well, and becoming to some extent one of the cats. He and the kitten (about the same age) wrestle and are hilarious together. He's filling the hole in our hearts left by the passing of Fiona, our beloved 15 year old Boston Terrier. To our delight, he likes other dogs, unlike his predecessor who was more inclined to snarl than play when initially confronted by another dog. Possibly the result of his spending 5 months with a group of dogs before being adopted, instead of just 8 weeks...
