In the future, my boyfriend would like to get 2 female Dobermans. I want to know if BT's and Dobermans get along. I just want to make sure there's no conflicts. My BT's, Jack and Emma, get along with other dogs. The only dog I know Emma doesn't get along with is my uncle's Jack Russell, Taz. That's because Taz isn't neutered and really likes Emma and tries to get his groove on, and Emma's not interested! lol

Dobie pups
by: Leisa

Thank you for comment Mary.

When we decide to get the Doberman's, they'll be pups. That way they get use to us, we can train them early, and they get to "grow up" with my BT's. Plus, my dog BB who's 4 & 80lbs, looks like a Doberman with med. length fur. Although she's a husky, pitbull, collie mix and they love her and she loves them back!

Good Nature

Your dog seems to have a very good nature.
My dog LOVES bigger dogs. We have a Retriever next door about 4 times his size and he plays and plays. We also know a friend with a Lab and they love each other. It sounds like it will depend on the other dogs' temperment because yours will be no problem.

I suggest to let them be together from the begining but supervised. Read online about the "pack walk" here:

Good luck and God Bless you!
