BT chews everything even his bed

This is the second BT I have had and the first was destructive but this one is in a league of his own. He opens kitchen cabinets and takes everything out and eats all. I can not even give him a bed because he destroys it. I now give him carpet remnants and he goes through one a day. Does anyone have a suggestion for a bed that can not be destroyed? He loves to chew on cushions, pillows and pretty much everything.

Chewy

We have a puppy that chewed all her beds too. At least all the ones with stuffing. So I put a beach towel in her crate and one on the floor. She finally out grew her "chewing stage" when she was about 10 months, but we still just have a blanket for her. No more stuffed beds!

Chewers

I have a chewer also, but not quite this bad, although he has destroyed 2 beds, multiple stuffie toys, a few pillows and he has attempted to mutilate a couple of our feather comforters... with that said, he does not chew when he's in his crate. He has a couple of bed pillows in there, and he leaves them alone. Go figure? Anyway, for a "bed" I would let him have old bath towels you don't care about any more (a good excuse to buy yourself some new ones and hand down the old). If you haven't tried crating him when you're not there to watch him, you could at least try it, again with nothing more than a towel on the bottom of the crate to start. He obviously gets a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction from destroying whatever he can shred. Try to break the cycle.
