I have a 6 month old male brindle Boston Terrier and a black & white female 7 months. When will the female come in season first & second times, and will they be pretty pups bred together?
There's certainly more than coat color and markings involved when you breed dogs. Since these two are both very young, I would take some time off from this idea and use it to research what goes into deciding which BTs should be bred based on physical and temperment attributes. There's plenty of time if you decide they are a good match. You might want to talk to people who are reputable breeders and have them evaluate your dogs. Just as an example, if there is a genetic issue with one or both of your BTs, such as you will find noted on other links on this web site (click on BT Health to the left) should one or both of your dogs carry a gene predisposing them to a condition, it would NOT be a good idea to breed this particular dog. I'm sure, if you research this more, you can make a good decision. Good luck.
