Breeding my MAle Boston

Okay so I have a male boston terrier that I just bought three days ago. I would like to know when the best time is to start having him mate...if I choose to do it. And what the big deal is with the "breedlines"? I mean how do you know that a dog is from a good breedline? Mine is AKC registered and i know thats good. I would just like to know a little more information. If you can help me out in anyway I would surel appreciate it. Also I was looking up puppies for sale recentl (apparently) and I came accross a website the sold boston pups. I think they were priced at like 1-2 thousand. The male dog they had in the upper left hand corner was a red and white perfect marking male with clipped ears, and pretty stocky. If you know what that website is called I would truly appreciate it.
