Is ist okay to breed our female boston when she's in heat in October? She just had a litter in May.

I would prefer you allow her some time to recover physically from having babies and nursing them. There's really no rush for more pups.

It is best for your female to let her body rest in between litters for at least one heat. That way she can "recover" physically. We had one female that did not eat well during her pregnancy and therefore lost a lot of weight. This allowed her to gain that weight back. We had another female that did not seem to change much at all, however we chose to let her wait in between heats also. This ensures a more healthier female AND a healthier litter on the next round.
