Brandy

My 7m/o Boston seems to have a "cold". We went away for the weekend to the snow. Now his nose is very stuffy and he is reverse sneezing a lot. Is there anything I can do to help him feel more comfortable?

You can try elderberry extract - a natural remedy that can be purchased OTC (it's good for you, too). Make her some chicken soup (boil a small amount of chicken and brown rice - make sure you cut chicken into very, very small pieces) give her broth, chicken & rice after it is somewhat cooled but still warm. Chicken soup works for you - it will work for her!

He does sound like he is getting some drainage. Definitely call the vet and see what he will tell you over the phone. In the mean time if his appetite is not affected, then he should be better soon. Make sure he gets lots of water and food. Do something to boost his immunity, like doggie vitamins or Immugen. You can google that and see what you can get online. You would have to over-night it though. The vet probably has some meds right there in his office. Be sure to ask about vitamins!
