Boston Terriers & Time of puppy delivery

by Joseph Curcuru

Does anyone know what time Boston terriers usually have their puppies?

I keep getting different information.
Some say after 12.00 AM.
And some people say the time doesn't matter.

Time for Pups?

Bostons can't tell time!
LOL.
We have had puppies at 6pm, 10am, and 2pm. All the books say that their labor starts after midnight but I think that is just to get the breeder ready for a "worse-case" scenario. For the pups that were born at 10am, the female went into labor beginning at 11:30 pm and continued panting until about 5am. Then she began her real labor. For the pups that were born at 2pm the female went into labor at 11am so I believe each female and each pregnancy can be very different.

Just be ready to stay up all night. Then if you don't have to you will be relieved.
