Boston Terrier's side and or belly hurts him

my dogs side just started hurting him today when i was petting him hes kinda just scooting around when he moves and he sits high up on his bottom with back legs in the air i know theres something wrong because he show no interest in his ball or frisbee ?

Maybe her back?

Our Jack Russell starting acting funny, scooting very cautiosly, we took her in and she had hurt her back probably jumping off the couch which they do all the time. We too thought it was stomache issues.
