Boston Terrier's Eyes

I just adopted a boston and I absolutely adore him! My question is: He doesn't have bulging eyes at all, but is that something they develop over time?

Breeders will probably have a better answer for you than this; however, I have had 3 Bostons and their eyes have all been slightly different. One had quite bulging eyes, another has moderate, one has hardly any, so I THINK there is a variation. Also, some are more wall-eyes than others. I'm anxious to hear what the breeders say about this.
