It has been difficult to get my boston terrier to eat and drink regularly lately. I have been forcing him to eat because if left alone he doesn't. Do you have an answer for me?
There are many dogs out there that will not eat when by themselves. As long as there are no medical issues with your Boston he will eat when he is hungry enough. Healthy dogs will not starve themselves like humans. They will however learn that you will make them something better. Check with your vet to see if you are giving your dog the correct portions at each feeding. Many people just follow the food bag instructions and 9 times out of 10 it is too much food. If this is the case cut back your Bostons food so he eats when you put it down. Bostons in general are very food motivated.

boston not eating by: Dianne
Hey give the vet a call and get some different food. Could be a check up is in order. The vet can give you a suggestion about how to feed your pooch. Don't wait...

spoiled doggie! by: Lindaa
Chance made me worry so; I made a pork roast to persuade him. Now I know there is not a physical reason for his not eating, he will chow down on the roast. Now how can I get him to eat his dog food? :(
