Yoda is my Boston Terrier and is almost one year old.
The last few months he's been throwing up....
Is that normal?? Why do they do that?

Sensitive to food
by: Anonymous

Boston Terriers have particularly sensitive stomachs, as I have learned through trial and error. Our Boston can have only one type of dog food - we keep her on a limited ingredient dry dog food. She cannot have any wheat at all or she will vomit. She cannot have cheese for the same reason. Sometimes she will even vomit when she eats her regular food.

Perhaps checking with your vet and finding a limited ingredient food will help. Good luck.

Vomiting

A dog will vomit for many reasons.
Our dogs usually are getting rid of items that were not really food...like chewed up toys, grass, etc. They also may be eating or drinking too fast. A Boston also gets a lot of "flim" in their throat especially if they have been running around gettting hot. That will cause them to vomit. Another reason may be that they are sick. So call the vet and be sure to list any other symptoms that you notice. If there are no other symptoms then you don't need to be seen by the vet. If they insist I would find another vet.
