Boston Terrier Teeth

When we got our 5 1/2 month old boston Sookie she 12 weeks old or so the breeder said. we were told that she was eating hard food but when we got home we noticed she was having trouble with her hard food and that all the teeth she had were her four k9 teeth. but she acted like she was teething so we gave here a orka chew toy and she started getting more and more teeth. but just last week she was playing with our two year old fiest and i noticed blood on my fiests neck and we thought that sookie had cut or biten to hard but we found no wound so i checked sookies mouth and saw three little raw red spots on the left side of her lower jaw. does this sound like she is just now getting those teeth or is it maybe she lost her baby teeth and is getting her adult teeth? and was it normal for her to have so few teeth at 12 weeks?
