boston terrier swollen eye lids, bumps around mouth

What causes eye lids to be very swollen and bumps around
mouth? She has been to the vet 3 times, we have changed her food, she's been on steroids and eye drops and nothing is helping. Any thoughts? Help would be appreciated.

Allergies?

In cases like this the vet is your best resource, but if you aren't getting any results see if you can get a second opinion.

This reaction could be to anything such as the detergent used to wash whatever he is sleeping/laying on, grass or plants outside, pollen, polution, food he has eaten, fertilizer put on either the plants outside or the food he is eating, shampoo, fleas or other small critters he may have, other animals such as cats or dogs or even wild rabbits/coons/opposums,and more. It could even be nerves. Try to think of what was going on right before this happened. Make a list on paper.

Keep him inside. Keep all his bedding clean and dry and wash with one of those sensitive skin products that you use with newborn human babies. See if the vet will prescribe him "Prescription Diet" food for a while. Also, there are immune boosting products out there too. Immugen is one of them. Holisticpetinfo.com is a good website when looking for immune support supplements.

We give our pups Fish Oil supplements every day. They don't have any allergies, but then maybe they do and this just works - who knows?

Good luck and take good care of your baby.
