You may want to get your Boston Terrier's anal glands expressed. Your veterinarian or technician can do this for you or you can have him professionally groomed and request that the groomer express his anal sacs. Sometimes if your dog smells "farty, poppy" this can be a sign that they need their sacs "emptied". If a dog is dragging his or her bottom on the floor this is a sign too. You may also want to check and make sure there's no skin or ear problems. Good luck!

Boston odor by: Sharri
I have a Boston and a Pug and had the same issue with my Pug. I was told that she smelled like a dog with mange. She itched a lot too. I thought it might be yeast or fungus. I found a website called My Hanks Depot and ordered the shampoo/conditioner and also the yeast/fungus detox herbal drops. Within two days I noticed the odor was gone. It worked great.
