Boston Terrier Shoulder Pain

My 6 year old Boston Terrier, Audrey, about 28 lbs. suffers from shoulder pain. She had an accident while out doing her business one night, came in packing left leg and some scrapes. At the vet's by 8:00 A.M., x-rayed etc. no broken bones but contusions and abrasions. Some days are okay if we really work at keeping her quiet(next to impossible). She favors the leg/shoulder after any playing with her best friend, Roxy our little BT, 16 lbs. Audrey thinks she a cow dog, ruling the ranch, very high activity level. Any ideas?
