My Boston Terrier was just here a day ago and shes 8 weeks old. She seems sad most of the time and she shakes like yours does. I hope nothing has been wrong, but I have read that they cannot tolerate with hot weather or extremely cold weather. So I'm thinking part of it may be the problem.

Symptoms your BT could be hurting by: Traci
I have a three year old BT named Pearl. She is a rescue and after having been with me approximately 3 months, I noticed @ times she would shake, drool or foam @ the mouth, and act sad or lethargic. These symptoms were few and far between but one day, upon noticing her "mope" around, and not acting like her energetic self, I took her to the vet. After thorough check Up, and finding nothing, she was being walked, and the assistant noticed she would stop and go into a downward "praying stance". They immediately Xrayed her and found that she was born without cartilage in the vertebrae of her neck. I now give my baby Rymadol (pain med) once a day as preventative for her poSsible pain, and she is doing wonderful. The point to this story is that the symptoms Pearl was presenting (shaking and foam or drool from mouth, and lethargic attitide) are all prime symptoms of PAIN. All dogs in somw type of pain will almost always shake, foam @ the mouth , and/or go into a praying like stance. I hope this helps you and your precious little BT. Good luck! Traci and Pearl.

Same thing happen to our puppy by: Brittany
The same thing happened to our puppy. She was drooling, shaking, and kind of acting "drunk" (falling over, etc), we ran her to the emergency room and they ran all sorts of tests and couldnt find anything really wrong with her. Right before we left (with no answers) the nurse said "hey you dont let your puppy eat raw hides do you?" and we said well yeah we do...come to find out raw hides are a NONO for bostons because their intestines can't absorb them. So dont let dog have those!!

shaking/drooling by: Linda Galway/TurnerME
Could be she ate something toxic; could be a mild seizure of some kind. I would call the vet and try to get some possibilities over the phone and find out if they think it's something you can safely "watch" for again or if she needs to be seen.
