Boston Terrier Questions
Questions: 1. I've heard from other websites that Boston Terriers don't live as long as other dogs. Is that true? And, how long can Boston Terriers live?
2. Plus, I've heard that dog food companies put dead dog cats and zoo animals in commercial dog food. Is Pedigree a commercial dog food?
Sorry about how many questions there are - I'm just worried about my Boston Terrier, Piper.
Answers:Thanks for writing in.
1. Life expectancy can vary from breed to breed. Boston Terriers usually live from 10 to 14 years. Feeding him a good food, keeping him healthy and getting enough exercise will maximize his life span. Here's a link to a page with more
frequently asked questions and answers that you might find helpful.
2. The term "commercial dog food" just means that it is sold in a store, so yes, Pedigree is a commercial dog food. There are some companies that unfortunately DO put the remains of dead animals in their food, but not all commercial dog food companies do this. There are some very good commercial dog foods available.
