Boston terrier puppy nystagmus

Hello.
My puppy is 10 weeks old and has a bit of horizontal eye shacking (nystagmus). He has no symtpoms however. His ears are clean. He walks, plays and acts normal. My questions: is this common in bostons and will it go away as he gets older? Is this indicative of something more serious?
