Boston Terrier Puppy Heart Murmur

I have a 9 week old BT puppy named Gabi and I took her to the vet yesterday for her first puppy health check up and she was diagnosed with a grade II/VI heart murmur (commonly known as a puppy murmur).

The vet said this type of murmur normally resolves itself by the time the puppy is 6 mos. old and she will likely be fine and it just needs to be monitored...but I'm worried and was just wondering if anyone has any advice or experience with BT heart murmurs?

I had a puppy that was also diagnosed with heart murmur @ his 6 1/2 week check up. A couple of months later, at his next vaccination appointment, the heart murmur was completely resolved and we have not had any heart issues since.

We had one puppy with a murmur at her 3 week checkup. Then at 6 weeks she was fine. It is something you need to monitor according to the vet's instructions. It is pretty common to occur very young and then develop into a healthy heart, but I guess some still have problems later. Make sure that puppy gets all the nutrition that the vet wants her to have.
