Boston Terrier Pooping while Asleep

My 7 year old Boston Terrier is pooping while sleeping. My vet has no idea why does. Anyone have this problem with there dog.

The 100% pure in a can pumpkin worked for my dog. I feed him two table spoons a day. I'm gonna give it to him forever. I'm glad I tried it first before I spent a ton of money.

 BT poops in sleep

My 11 month old BT started showing poop under his tail while she slept, vet is trying a change in diet to Hill I/D and FortiFlora powder to his food and feed 4 small meals through out the day. Its been 4 days and the issue has lessened but not corrected, vet says wait a few more days and if no change advising me to take him to a urologist.

Our boston was having the same issue. It lasted a few weeks. I am not sure what caused this, but I figured it had to be a bacterial thing or maybe viral. Hers was a little loose. I had read somewhere to try feeding her plain canned pumpkin. I fed her a tablespoon a couple times a day and it seemed to disappear within a few days. She really liked the taste too. You might try that. Good luck to you.
