Boston Terrier Pooping 6 to 7 times a day

My 4 month old Boston poops, outside, luckily, 6 to 7 times a day. Is this normal? We have had her on 3 different types of food.

My Boston Bella is now 7 months and we started her on blue buffalo "puppy" when we got her at 4 months. She is now on a schedule popping 3 times a day. I dont recall her ever pooping more than 3 or 4 times a day. We fed her 3 times a day (1/2 a cup per meal) and now feed her twice a day (about half a cup each time)and give her plenty of treats during the day.

I have mine on Blue Buffalo. He likes it over the evolution diet and he stopped pooping 4 times a day to three at the most.

Does your dog self feed? This could be a reason for increased duty calls; however, I do think 6-7 times a day is way more than expected and you will probably want to schedule an appointment with your dog's veterinarian.

If your pup is only 4 months and you have changed his food 3 or 4 times, you need to find one that is nutritious and stay with it. Changing the food too often can lead to stomach upset and diarrhea. We have got our on Blue Buffalo and it seems to be a good nutritious dog food.
