I have a 9 week old boy who does the same.. by: Anonymous
But I've noticed he only does it when I'm not giving him the attention he is wanting at that time..For example, when he's in a playful mood shaking his rope toy around and I have to take the cookies out of the oven... He turns and pees when I'm not looking.. I've found crate training to work very well. When he has an accident in the house that isn't on a pee pad now.. He goes in to his crate without me having to tell him anymore.. He realizes what he is doing and that it is a no-no. In my opinion when a puppy already proves to be housebroken and decides to pee randomly (not on a corner or any object to mark) he is doing it for attention and in a way testing his boundaries..
Crate-training FTW;)

+ It sounds like there is something up...It all depends what is causing the new behavior.
First decide if you think he is sick. What is his age? Has he any symptoms?
Second decide if he is "acting up". Is there a new baby around? New anything?
Last, discuss all this with your vet. He should be able to offer many resolutions.
You can always try crate-training or start outside training. I hear it will eventually work no matter what age the dog is.
