Boston Terrier Not Eating

My Boston Terrier is about one year old. Her name is Lilly. Ever since my husband went to work out of town she wont eat. She is losing weight and just looks depressed all the time. I don't know what to do.

Bad Appetite

Our female did this too but we found out that it was because her "cycle" was cycling around. She did this every cycle and it would get really bad. The vet gave her Prescription Diet (chicken and rice) and she would eat that. She normally weighs 17 pounds but at her worst time she weighed only 12 pounds. It was soooo sad so we had her spayed. It has been a full year and she has not had another bad appetite episode.

The vet has lots of ideas on how to get her to eat and he can give you the Prescription Diet food too. Talk to your vet to see what else may be the matter.
If it is just that your husband is gone...you can cheer her up with a nice walk or a trip to the dog park or teach her a new trick!
